We are proud to announce a new cycle in our partnership with SC Internacional from Brazil. The long-term co-creation journey that started in May 2018 will be extended till the end of 2020 with 8 club visits of 5 days.
The objective is to improve the way the academy is functioning in order to optimise the player potential and develop more and better young players that are ready for elite level football. Corporate management topics as well as football specific topics will be delivered, based on the key action points stated in the report of the initial club and academy assessment.
In August Double Pass finished the first project cycle with the general presentation of the Programa de Desenvolvimento de Talentos, a club manual of 253 pages to optimize player potential within the talent business model of SC Internacional.
Raul Fachini, the Administrative Director of SC Internacional : “It is not in our Brazilian culture to document all of the processes, goals and results. This new club manual about our Football Philosophy is the valuable result of the workshops in which all our club and academy staff co-created with the experts of Double Pass. It was a privilege for all of us to leave our comfort zone and day-by-day operations to share our thoughts and experiences, to define and formalise our way of working and to cross check it with the international expertise of the dp consultants. After each visit we received new assignments, which were followed up closely by dp experts. The dp approach is clearly the best way to define, implement and evaluate improvements to the club and academy operations. We look forward to continuing to work together in a second, ambitious cycle .”
The first club visit of cycle 2, from 14th till 18th october 2019, will focus on Health & Performance. Our experts Hans Vander Elst, Steven Probst and Philippe Rosier will organize workshops with the management team of the club and the academy, the medical department, all coaching staff and the physical coaches of the academy and the first team.
The topics of this visit will be the installment of a Health & Performance department, the performance of Team Development (linking with football; curriculum, periodization and session) and the performance of Individual Development (individual profiles and player pathway with transition to the first team).
