Ekstraklasa
Ekstraklasa has given the assignment to Double Pass to organise its first Master Class Academy Management in Poland in april 2017. During four consecutive workshops, the 16 Polish elite clubs had the opportunity to deep dive into the critical succes factors of elite academy management. Both theoretical and practical issues of running a professional academy were lectured by Double Pass experts. Afterwards this content was put into practice by means of hands-on exercices in which participants could share their knowledge and experience. This interactive way of working ensured a very good vibe.
The objective was to collectively educate the Technical Directors, Academy Directors and Heads of Coaching with regard to “How to successfully run an elite academy from a sport technical and managerial point of view?” and by the end improve the way football academies are functioning currently in order to develop more, better young football players.
16 professional football clubs were represented by their Technical Directors, Academy Directors and Head of Coaching. Double Pass gave a conference at the Ekstraklasa headquarters with the objective to inspire the representatives of the Ekstraklasa clubs. The topics that were tackled were: what are the critical success factors of a talent development system? How to implement a football philosophy and curriculum? What is needed on federation, league and especially on club level to create a state-of-the-art academy?
On Tuesday 19th June 2017, the official graduation ceremony of the Master Class Academy Management Poland took place at the Ekstraklasa headquarters.
