Finnish Ice Hockey Association (FIHA) focuses on
practical audit
After 2 successful
rounds of ‘Ice Hockey PASS’, where over 80
Finnish ice hockey clubs received full audits, the FIHA has
decided to focus the next round on the core product offered
by the clubs, hockey education. To achieve this, Double
PASS
will work together with the Sports Institute of Finland (Vierumäki)
in order to redesign the scientific instrument to evaluate
the hockey education offered by the different clubs, “from
the office to the rink”. This will form the base of a new
Ice Hockey PASS, planned to be up and running by late 2011. In the future, the
results of Ice Hockey PASS will be used to determine the
financial support that clubs can receive.
