Double PASS extends its contract with the Bundesliga and
the German Football League
After a first successful implementation of the
specifically on football oriented quality system 'Foot PASS'
into the German football, Double Pass has extended for two
seasons its cooperation contract with the Deutscher Fußball-Bund
(DFB) and the Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH (DFL), with an
option till 2014. Double PASS keeps its mission to certify
and to support the centers for youth training in the
Bundesliga and Bundesliga clubs.
Foot PASS Deutschland will continue to help the clubs to run
successfully their youth training activities. To this end,
Double PASS will develop additional tools, among what the
publication of a quality manual.
"Through this quality project, we want to stimulate our
clubs to improve the quality of the youth training to
promote the chances of young local players", says Holger
Hieronymus, Head of Football Affairs inside the Bundesliga.
During the football season 2007-2008, all clubs of the
German Bundesliga passed for the first time the quality
audit 'Foot PASS'. Following this specific football audit,
the clubs got advice on how to improve their youth training.
In the mean time, the clubs received their quality stars
used by the Bundesliga to distribute the funds of the Youth
foundation granted by UEFA (4 million Euro in 2007),
originated by Champions League.
