Who is Double PASS?
Double PASS ltd was created in November 2004 as a
spin-off of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, more
specifically the Department 'Sportbeleid en Management'
(SBMA).
Teamwork and team spirit are not only
important values in the world of sports, they also form the
foundation of our organization. Here at Double PASS
we pride ourselves in taking the individual talents of our
employees and moulding them in to a complementary, organised
and efficient team.
Our management team
consists of 4 individuals. Hugo schoukens, Jo Van Hoecke and
Robbie De Sutter, the founders of
Double
PASS, are joined by the final member of the team, Jo
Haentjens. The complementary
skills of these individuals form the backbone of a
close-knit management team:
- Hugo Schoukens is a former branch
banker who got his MBA in Sports Management at the
University of Leicester. Next to extensive experience in
various youth organizations as leader and camp leader,
he was also player, trainer and youth coordinator in for
different professional and amateur football clubs.
He has an UEFA A licence for coaching and is a licensed
Youth Academy Director (TVJO Elite).
- Jo Van Hoecke is doctor in Physical
education and lectures sport management and -marketing
at the department 'sport management' at the Vrije
Universiteit Brussel. After his career as professional
gymnast, he worked as youth trainer (Trainer A),
administrator, official and organizer of various sport
events, among which the World championship artistic
gymnastics in Gent.
- Robbie De Sutter
is doctor in computer sciences (Gent University)
and for the moment researcher at the Medialab of VRT
(Flemish Radio & Television). As ICT manager he is
responsible for the development and maintenance of all
software used in our quality check program.
- Jo Haentjens has a
Master degree in Physical Education
and got his MBA in General Management
at the Vlerick Management School of Gent. He is
accomodation director at the provincial sports centre 'Puyenbroek'
and is assistant sports management at the Universiteit
Gent.
In accordance to
current and future projects at national and international
level, the team is reinforced by experienced professionals
who have acquired expertises in different sports disciplines
and domains.
